At EmJay Studio, we believe it should be both.
Created by Emma Jackson, a busy mum who understands first-hand how difficult it can be to make time for yourself, EmJay Studio was built around real life. Based in the Preston and Walton-le-Dale area, EmJay is an independent beauty and wellbeing studio created to give you more than just a treatment. It is a place where you can slow down, switch off and leave feeling refreshed, confident and genuinely looked after.
But EmJay is about more than beauty
Whether you are popping in for perfectly shaped brows, beautiful lashes, beautifully finished nails or some much-needed time out with a relaxing massage, every appointment is personal. Treatments are tailored around you, your preferences and how you want to feel when you walk through the door.
From brow waxing and tinting to lash lifts, classic, hybrid and Russian or volume lash extensions, EmJay Studio brings together the details that can make a big difference to your confidence. Add nail treatments, acrylic extensions and our luxury facial, and you have everything you need to look and feel your best without having to travel from one place to another..
Sometimes what you really need is to put your phone away, take a breath and let somebody else take care of you for a while. Our massage treatments are designed with exactly that in mind, from relaxing back, neck and shoulder massages and Indian head massage to full-body massage experiences created to help you unwind, refresh and reset.

And then there are the EmJay Escapes.
Created exclusively for EmJay Studio, these signature experiences bring beauty, relaxation and precious personal time together in one carefully designed appointment. The Mini EmJay Escape combines a relaxing back, neck and shoulder massage with brow waxing and tinting, giving you a little pocket of “me time” when life is demanding your attention.
The signature EmJay Escape takes that feeling further, combining a full-body massage, luxury facial and lash tint into an indulgent experience designed to help you step away from everyday life and reconnect with yourself.
For the ultimate experience, the Ultimate EmJay Escape brings together a full-body massage, luxury facial, lash tint, luxury hand and arm massage and scalp massage, finished with premium refreshments and an EmJay aftercare gift.

Our Silent Appointments are always available for clients who would rather relax without the pressure to make conversation. There is no expectation to talk. No awkwardness. No judgement. Just your treatment, your time and the opportunity to properly switch off.
We also understand that traditional appointment times do not always work for modern life. That is why EmJay offers EmJay After Dark, with selected late-night appointments designed especially for parents, working clients and anyone whose days are already packed from morning until evening.
